Reed also has an extensive background in College Athletics, including the Michigan State Men’s Basketball and Football Teams where he worked alongside Head Coaches Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio. Throughout his time with Michigan State Basketball, Reed played a role in helping the Spartans win the 2009 Big Ten Championship, in addition to advancing to the 2009 Final Four (NCAA Championship Runner up). A real highlight during his tenure was when the Spartans won the 2010 Big Ten Championship, and were a participant in two bowl games.

Reed also served as Director of Football Operations for both Miami University (Ohio) and Central Michigan University. Within both programs, Reed played an influential role in helping recruit and build relationships with prospective student athletes, in addition to helping coordinate three bowl games while at CMU.

Reed attended Michigan State University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources. Reed also holds a Master’s Degree from Michigan State University in Athletic Administration.

Reed joined the Palladian West team in January of 2023. He enjoys building relationships and helping individuals land their dream role. He is looking forward to applying this skill at Palladian West to help organizations find the right fit to enhance collaboration, team development, and ultimately success.

Persuaders are leaders and motivators within their organizations. Socially poised and extraverted, they love to make their mark, and won’t shy away from risk. Persuaders will rally the team around projects—confidently making decisions and delegating tasks before they move on to their next project.

Reed lives with his wife Brenna and their dog Benny in Muskegon, MI.

He is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to Michigan State and Detroit teams.  Reed also enjoys physical activity himself, specifically playing golf.  Beyond sports, Reed likes spending time with family and friends, experiencing new restaurants, and traveling.

Reed had the honor of attending the 2014 ESPN ESPY Awards while at Central Michigan, as a result of the last play of the bowl game being nominated for Best Play.  Reed still serves as a Contracted Consultant for The Bahamas Bowl working with Complete Sports Management and ESPN Events.
