We customize every assignment to the needs of our client. It’s the only true way to craft a solution that will meet our clients’ specific needs. While the execution of each assignment may be unique, after many years in the business studying and benchmarking best practices, we have found that a successful search does follow a certain path. To that end we have summarized our process below.

1. Intake Meeting

Palladian assigns an Account Manager, Recruiter and Researcher who conduct a two-hour meeting with the client to understand the particulars around what needs to be done, the team dynamics and specific requirements of the role.

2. The Research:

Palladian develops a job-specific Research Strategy using up to 20 different research tools. Typically 1000 – 5000 potential candidates are evaluated with approximately 100 making it to the list of Target Candidates.

3. Recruiting

The Recruiter reaches out to all Target Candidates, incrementally narrowing the list as candidates progress through the following steps:

  • Initial 30-minute Qualifying Call
  • Candidate Questionnaire
  • In-Person or Skype Interview
  • Reference Check

4. Candidate Submissions

The best 3 candidates are submitted with the following information:

  • Recruiter Summary
  • Candidate Resume
  • Completed Candidate Questionnaire
  • Initial Reference

5. Checks and Balances

The Account Manager steps in and ensures the quality and fit of the best candidates, taking the candidates through the following steps:

  • Half hour call prior to client interview.
  • Debrief call following client interview.
  • Two additional references completed.

6. Guided Interview Process

The Account Manager accompanies the candidate and client throughout the interview process, helping both sides gather the information needed to make the right decision. Once an offer is made, the Account Manager coaches the candidate through resignation.

7. First Year on the Job

The Account Manager maintains a schedule for checking in on both the candidate and the hiring manager during the first year to ensure a successful integration. Palladian West also offers career-coaching services to the placed candidate if desired.
